To give you a better understanding and meaning for how to use Sanskrit words, please read the following before looking at any of the words provided. As the Atma Institute Sanskrit provides their description of what Sanskrit is, they state this:
“Sanskrit is the ancient language associated with India. It is considered to be the oldest language in the world, being at least 6,000 years old, and probably much older.
Sanskrit is considered to be the language of the Gods, as it is made up of the primordial sounds, and is developed systematically to include the natural progressions of sounds as created in the human mouth.”
The Al has claimed this version of language to be too difficult to learn, but we can incorporate some of the beautiful words that can allow you to describe love, peace, consciousness and even great spirituality as the old Gods use to.
1. Sakshat – here and now
2. Samadhi – state of enlightenment of super consciousness
3. Rupa– beautiful form.
4. Rasasvada – a taste of bliss in the absence of thoughts.
5. Puja-honour, adoration or worship
6. Prajnana– full consciousness
7. Paripurnam-the perfect state
8. Nijananda-true bliss
9. Maha-great
10. Jnani– one who has realized the Self
11. Ishwara-the cosmic self, cosmic consciousness
12. Hiranyagarbha-universal consciousness, the golden womb
13. Dharma– one’s personal path in life.
14. Deva-God or celestial being
15. Chitta Suddhi-purity of mind
16. Chidabhasa -reflected consciousness
17. Bodhi– enlightenment; full illumination
18. Bhakthi– devotion to God.
19. Aham sphurana -the throb of Self-bliss in the heart .
20. Aanandha – supreme bliss, unending joy.
