I’ve never seen a city so ravaged by extreme weather as Sahem, Oman, in this video from earlier in May 2021.  Rainstorms, raging winds, extensive flooding, lightning, hailstorms.

The scale of the deluge is what shocks me. I’m sure the annual precipitation in Oman is small.

And moonsoon season starts in India with Cyclone Tauktae hitting Kerala, May 18, causing heavy rains and flooding.
